Retirees
Since becoming a public company, Patriot has operated mines in West Virginia and Kentucky.
Eighty-seven percent of our retirees live in the states of West Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana. Of the retirees and their dependents we currently provide healthcare for, about 12 percent relates to retirees who last worked for Patriot, with the remaining 88 percent relating to retirees who last worked for Peabody Energy or Magnum Coal.
